Marios holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens with major in mechanical structures and constructions.

He started his career as a Design Engineer and Consultant for large scale private, governmental and public buildings in Greece where he gained valuable experience in managing the early stages of a project. After three years, he moved to Qatar where he worked as Technical Office and Site Engineer, for another three years, in the construction of the Qatar Airways Aircraft Maintenance Hangar at the New Doha International Airport. During this project he integrated his design experience with the knowledge of managing a mega project in a multinational environment. He returned to Greece in 2010 and has been working since then as a Project Engineer (Piping Erection Supervisor) in the Elefsis Refinery Upgrade Project of Hellenic Petroleum.
